WFL Unveils Powerful M70 MILLTURN at EMO Hannover
WFL Millturn Technologies GmbH & Co. KG, a leading manufacturer of multi-tasking machines, unveiled the M70 MILLTURN at the EMO Hannover trade fair. The new machine, a multifunctional turning, drilling, and milling centre, drew significant attention from visitors.
The M70 MILLTURN boasts an impressive main spindle that delivers up to 5,860 Newton metres of torque and reaches speeds of up to 2,500rpm. Its milling unit is equally powerful, delivering up to 58 kilowatts, reaching 8,000rpm, and offering a maximum torque of 640 Newton metres. This machine is designed to handle large and heavy animal cells, with a centre distance of up to 8,000mm, a maximum swing diameter of 850mm, and a capacity to handle workpieces weighing up to 5.5 tons.
Visitors also learned about automation solutions using a storage tower on the proven M20 MILLTURN. WFL automation cells can be equipped with numerous innovative features, supporting small series up to individual parts production. The M70 MILLTURN itself is fully digitally networked, featuring technologies like CrashGuard, Millturn PRO, and the myWFL cockpit for Industry 4.0 readiness.
The M70 MILLTURN, developed by WFL Millturn Technologies, is designed for continuous 24/7 production and can be combined with robots, gantry loaders, or complete manufacturing technology cells. The company found the EMO Hannover trade fair successful for showcasing this technological innovation and strengthening industry connections.
