Vodafone & Kigen Boost IoT Partnership for Global iSIM Connectivity
Vodafone Business IoT and Kigen have strengthened their partnership, integrating Vodafone's connectivity into Kigen's iSIM Secure Package. This collaboration enables quicker scaling for small businesses and simplifies production processes.
The integration simplifies iSIM deployment, automating connectivity and reducing manual installation and energy consumption costs. Erik Brenneis, CEO of Vodafone IoT, expressed his satisfaction in expanding the collaboration with Kigen for worldwide iSIM connectivity.
iSIM technology reduces costs associated with sourcing individual components, import/export costs, and negotiation time. Vodafone's iSIM connectivity service benefits industries like smart meters and tracking devices using low power, wide area (LPWA) IoT networks. The partnership's iSIM technology is commercially available directly on multiple chipsets, with faster delivery times.
Vodafone's integrated SIM, along with Kigen's iSIM Secure Package, offers small businesses secure and reliable global connectivity. With over 180 countries covered, businesses can manufacture once and ship globally, reducing operational burden and enhancing security.
