The latest version of the Boris FX Continuum plugin suite, Continuum 2020.5, has been released, bringing a host of improvements and new features to enhance your video editing and graphics creation workflow.

Key Enhancements in Continuum 2020.5

Particle Illusion

Particle Illusion in Continuum 2020.5 offers a range of new emitter styles, improved GPU-accelerated performance, and better control over particle behaviours and presets. The update also introduces forces, retro cartoon emitters, and a collection of presets to help you get started. Users can now save their favourite Particle Illusion presets for easy access in future projects.

Title Studio

Title Studio in Continuum 2020.5 boasts enhanced text animation tools, more flexible 3D titling options, and presets for simpler motion graphics creation. The update also includes a native composite modes feature and a cast shadow shader for added realism.

Transitions

Continuum 2020.5 introduces new transition styles, such as Crash Zoom Dissolve and Spin Blur Dissolve, with refined controls for better visual impact.

Effects

Numerous existing effects in Continuum 2020.5 have been improved for speed and quality, with a focus on better tracking and keying capabilities.

Host Support
