Vivo is set to launch its new mid-range smartphone, the Vivo V60, in India. The V60 boasts a sleek design with a vertically positioned pill-shaped camera module, according to claims.

The Vivo V60 comes equipped with a ZEISS-powered triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766 main sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide camera. The front camera is a 50MP sensor housed in a punch-hole cutout.

The V60 features a large 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K and a refresh rate of 120Hz. Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with 12GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB internal storage (non-expandable). The phone runs Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box.

The V60 packs a 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support, making it the slimmest smartphone in the 6,500mAh battery segment. The battery, combined with the fast charging support, promises quick recharge times, though exact charging speed details were initially unknown but later confirmed as 90W flash charging.

The V60 will come in three color options: Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Grey. It will also offer 5-years of software support.

The anticipated price range for the Vivo V60 base model is between Rs 37,000 and Rs 40,000, making it a competitive option for mid-range consumers. In comparison, the Vivo V50 was launched at Rs 34,999 in India for the base model.

The Vivo V60 is expected to launch soon in India, with potential debut on August 19. The V60 is positioned as a premium upper mid-range phone focused on photography and performance enhancements over its predecessor, the V50. It offers a large AMOLED screen with high refresh rate, advanced triple rear cameras with Zeiss optics, a large battery with fast charging, and the latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
