In a strategic move to accelerate legal innovation, global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has established LX Studio, an innovation-focused US subsidiary. The primary aim of LX Studio is to harness technology and digital transformation to deliver more effective and efficient legal services [1].

LX Studio's mission is to drive innovation within the legal services model, helping clients succeed in a rapidly evolving environment. By aligning intellectual property (IP) strategy with broader business imperatives, LX Studio aims to provide practical, business-minded legal support across various industries [1].

Jeff Cody, the US Managing Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright, underscores LX Studio's focus on providing innovative solutions for clients. Christy Bentz, the Chief Client Value & Innovation Officer, further emphasizes the importance of meeting clients where they are, positioning LX Studio to build, codevelop, and partner with clients on personalized service solutions [1].

LX Studio will identify, develop, and invest in the best technology to help clients put it to use quickly, effectively, and comprehensively. It will also be the home to Norton Rose Fulbright's existing technology product, the award-winning privacy compliance tool suite NT Analyzer [1].

In addition, LX Studio will collaborate with legal technology companies, alternative legal services providers, and may partner with or invest in novel technologies. This collaboration is aimed at providing clients with more than just legal advice; LX Studio also wants to provide problem-solving capabilities [1].

Gina Shishima, the Chief Strategy and Operations Partner of Norton Rose Fulbright, states that LX Studio allows them to capitalize on their tremendous resources and innovative focus. She also mentions that LX Studio brings new opportunities for the firm to offer new and different services to support clients [1].

However, neither Gina Shishima nor Christy Bentz has provided specific strategies or methods for identifying, developing, and investing in technologies. Similarly, Christy Bentz did not mention any specific technology or product that LX Studio will develop or invest in.
