Universal Zero-Knowledge (ZK) Infrastructure: That's Boundless (ZKC)

In the ever-evolving world of cryptocurrencies, a new player has entered the arena. Boundless, the innovative project built by the RISC Zero team, has set its sights on revolutionising blockchain technology with its unique offering - the ZKC token.

Launched in 2012, Boundless started out with a genesis supply of 1 billion ZKC tokens, but does not have a fixed maximum supply. The ZKC coin powers the network, serving as collateral for provers who earn rewards through Proof of Verifiable Work (PoVW), participate in governance, and benefit from protocol staking rewards.

Boundless is universal, designed to work with multiple blockchains, not just one. At launch, ZKC ran on both BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum, marking its first step into a multi-chain future. It is also interoperable, seamlessly connecting with big ecosystems like Ethereum and BNB Chain, and future rollups.

The ZKC Token Sale took place on Capital Launchpad from August 25 to September 1, 2025, with a price of $0.29 per token. A total of 13,793,103 tokens were sold, raising $4M. Deposits for ZKC opened on Binance on September 12, 2025, and the official listing took place on September 15, 2025, with trading pairs ZKC/USDT, ZKC/USDC, ZKC/BNB, ZKC/FDUSD, and ZKC/TRY.

The circulating supply at launch was approximately 200.9 million ZKC tokens, with the genesis supply reduced due to the Token Sale and other allocations. The ZKC token allocation includes an Ecosystem Fund, Core Team & Early Contributors, Investors, Strategic Growth Fund, Other, and Public Sale.

In addition to the Token Sale, the Binance HODLer Airdrop program distributed an additional 5 million ZKC into circulation after the listing, with 15 million more tokens set aside for marketing and community campaigns over the following six months.

Boundless is a proving layer that brings zero-knowledge technology to blockchains and rollups, helping them scale faster, cut costs, and boost security. The goal is to make blockchains run faster, cheaper, and with more security. By allowing blockchains to use zero-knowledge proofs without heavy lifting, ZKC runs on both BNB Smart Chain and Ethereum at launch, setting the stage for a more efficient and secure future for the crypto space.
