The Guenzburg firm "Golsner and Lutzenberger GbR" has a proven track record, having previously implemented the tank station new construction in Nersingen.
The station's location in Ulm is considered "top" by the project developers, offering easy accessibility to the city's residents and visitors. In addition to hydrogen and other alternative fuels, the facility will also house a McDonald's fast-food restaurant, a car wash, toilets, and a shop selling regional products.
The filling station is being built in response to the climate crisis and changing customer needs. It aims to create infrastructure for tomorrow's mobility, with the potential to have a ripple effect in the region, as envisioned by Ulm's Mayor, Martin Ansbacher.
