UEFA Women's Euro 2025 Final Drives Record Ad Stitching

The UEFA Women's Euro 2025 final between Spain and England was a thrilling match that delivered unexpected advertising opportunities. The game, which went into extra time and penalties, resulted in three unscheduled high-value ad breaks.

Yospace, a technology provider, witnessed a significant increase in ad stitching during the tournament. They saw 30,000 more ads stitched per day compared to the men's tournament in 2024. This surge can be attributed to the dramatic final, which saw a 17% increase in stream starts after Spain's opening goal and a 57% increase after England's equaliser.

Yospace's Prefetch solution played a crucial role in maximising ad revenues during the final. The technology allowed for the stitching of 6 billion one-to-one addressable advertisements throughout the tournament, a record for any football event, surpassing previous men's and women's tournaments. Some rights-holders even saw double the amount of ads stitched compared to the 2022 edition of the tournament.

The UEFA Women's Euro 2025 final proved to be a boon for advertising, with unscheduled ad breaks and increased stream starts driving record ad stitching. Yospace's technology was instrumental in maximising revenues for rights-holders during the event.
