Today's 'Strands' from NYT: Suggestions, Spangram, and Solutions for December 5th's Puzzle

Searching for Wednesday's Strands tips, spangram, and solutions? Look no further:

Yesterday's Strands was extremely challenging. I'd argue it was the toughest NYT's recent puzzler yet. But thankfully, today's puzzle is a bit more manageable. Let's dive right in!

Strands is the new addition to the New York Times' collection of puzzle games. It's a fresh take on classic word search games. Each day, we're presented with a new theme, and our mission is to discover all the words related to that theme on the grid, including a spangram that stretches across both sides of the board. The spangram is a crucial word that crosses from one side of the grid to the other, revealing more about the daily theme.

Today’s Strands Breakdown

I quickly found GRIFFIN and then spotted 'WINGED'. This led me to deduce WINGEDTHING (a rather silly spangram). The theme for today is so apparent it's almost annoying, but I still had to hunt a bit before I found BUTTERFLY. From there, it was relatively straightforward. FAIRY, DRAGON, STORK. The only challenge was ANGEL, as I kept mistaking it for EAGLE.
