Three companies – Lucira, PlaySuper, iDO Devices, and three unnamed entities – secure funding in the early stages of their development
In the bustling world of business, several companies are making strides in their respective industries. Here's a look at some of the latest developments:
Lucira Shines Bright with Seed Funding
Lucira, a jewelry brand known for its commitment to sustainability, has secured $5.5 million in a seed round. Founded by Rupesh and Vandana Jain, the brand offers fine jewelry crafted with certified lab-grown diamonds, recycled gold, and transparent sourcing practices. The fresh capital will be used to fuel Lucira's growth, open new retail stores, enhance digital customer experience, strengthen technology backbone, scale design studio, and hire talent. The funding round was led by Blume Ventures and Spring Marketing Capital. Lucira's first retail store is set to open in Mumbai this month.
Lucira Expands Across Metros
In addition to its online presence, Lucira plans to expand into key metros through flagship experience stores and a phased omnichannel strategy. The brand aims to create a seamless shopping experience for its customers, blending the convenience of online shopping with the personal touch of brick-and-mortar stores.
Nutrition Brand Supply6 Bolsters Its Offerings
Supply6, a nutrition supplement brand, has raised $1.1 million (Rs 9.1 crore) in a seed round. The brand offers a wide range of products across protein, carbohydrates, fats, fiber, vitamins, and minerals. The capital raised will be used to expand the product pipeline, fund clinical studies, and work on new product formats. Supply6 also plans to deepen its direct-to-consumer and quick-commerce distribution, prioritising international entry in high-supplement adoption regions such as the GCC countries and Anglophone markets.
Samvik Power Steps into the Spotlight
Engineering firm Samvik Power has secured an undisclosed amount in funding. The company, which specialises in integrated engineering, procurement, and construction services, is scaling its portfolio across on-grid, off-grid, and hybrid solar systems, rooftop installations, solar thermal projects, and solar-powered water pumps. The funding was led by Jeet Mukesh Chandan.
PlaySuper Gears Up for Growth
PlaySuper, a gaming commerce platform, has raised $1 million in seed funding. The Singapore-based company was led by gaming venture capital firm Chimera in its funding round. The fresh capital will be used to fuel the platform's growth and enhance its offerings.
While there is no specific public information available about who will receive future financing for Lucira, the brand's expansion plans and commitment to sustainability suggest a promising future in the jewelry industry. Similarly, the focus on nutrition and international expansion by Supply6, the growth and diversification of Samvik Power, and the gaming-centric approach of PlaySuper all indicate a dynamic and exciting landscape in their respective sectors.
