Tesla Introduces Intelligent Autonomous Vehicle Summoning in Europe and the Middle East

Tesla owners in Europe and the Middle East can now enjoy the convenience of Actual Smart Summon (A.S.S.), a feature that allows their electric vehicles to drive to their location using the Tesla mobile app. This announcement comes after the initial release of A.S.S. in September.

However, it's important to note that the Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology, which A.S.S. leverages, is not yet available in Europe. FSD is expected to be rolled out in the first quarter of 2025.

Despite the excitement, there are limitations to A.S.S. in Europe and the Middle East. The feature is still not available outside of parking lots, and the range is limited to 15 meters. These restrictions are likely due to the regulations set by EU regulators.

Tesla has announced and is now rolling out A.S.S. in these regions, with the update coming as software version 2024.44.3. This development marks a significant step towards the integration of advanced driving technologies in Europe and the Middle East.

While A.S.S. is a step towards autonomous driving, it's essential to remember that it's not a replacement for a responsible driver. Always ensure your vehicle is in a safe environment before using A.S.S. and remain alert and ready to take control at any moment.

As Tesla continues to innovate and push the boundaries of electric vehicle technology, we can expect to see more exciting developments in the future. Stay tuned for updates on the rollout of FSD in Europe and the continued expansion of A.S.S. capabilities.
