Tesla Boosts Model 3 & Y Range, Adds Features Without Price Hike
Tesla has recently revealed significant enhancements to its Model 3 and Model Y, boosting their range and introducing new features. The upgrades, unveiled in the news, include advanced camera technology, a new turn signal lever, and enhanced battery packs.
The Model 3 now sports a new front camera with washing and heating elements, ensuring clear visibility even in challenging weather conditions. Additionally, a new turn signal lever has been introduced for the Model 3. The 'Max Range AWD' Model Y variant now achieves an impressive estimated 629 kilometers, while the 'Max Range RWD' Model 3 variant reaches 750 kilometers. These improvements are attributed to the new battery packs with higher cell density, delivering more energy and increasing the range of both models.
The Model 3 Performance sees an improvement from 528 to 571 kilometers. The rear-wheel drive Model 3 now achieves up to 554 kilometers according to the WLTP standard. The all-wheel-drive Model 3 variant improves to an estimated 716 kilometers. Despite these enhancements, Tesla has maintained the prices for both models, with the Model 3 starting at €39,990 and the Model Y at €44,990.
Tesla's latest upgrades to the Model 3 and Model Y focus on increasing their range and improving driver visibility. With no change in pricing, these enhancements make both models more appealing to potential buyers, further solidifying Tesla's position in the electric vehicle market.
