Starlink Slashes Dish Prices, Expands Referral Program as User Base Tops 7 Million
SpaceX's Starlink has cut prices for its Mini and Standard dishes in the U.S. and Canada. The company also broadened its referral program globally, benefiting both referrers and new customers with a free month of service. This news comes as Starlink marks reaching seven million users worldwide.
The Starlink Mini dish now costs $299 in the U.S. and $399 in Canada, while the Standard dish has dropped to $89 in the U.S. This price reduction aims to make Starlink's high-speed internet more accessible.
Starlink's global referral program now allows customers in all 150 countries, territories, and markets served by the satellite internet service to share their referral links. When a new customer signs up and activates the service using a referral link, both the referrer and the new customer receive one free month of service. This expansion follows Starlink's celebration of surpassing seven million users worldwide, indicating its growing popularity.
Starlink offers speeds up to 350+ Mbps, providing reliable connectivity at home and on the go with Starlink Roam. This service is now available in over 100 countries, further expanding Starlink's global reach.
With the recent price drops and the global expansion of its referral program, Starlink continues to make high-speed internet more accessible worldwide. The company's rapid user growth reflects the increasing demand for reliable satellite internet services.
