Sony Honda Mobility & Amazon Team Up for Revolutionary In-Car Entertainment
Sony Honda Mobility Inc. (SHM) is set to revolutionize in-car entertainment. The company, established in 2022 by Sony and Honda, has announced a partnership with Amazon to bring its music and audiobook services to SHM vehicles. The first model, 'our website 1', is slated for launch in California, USA in 2025.
SHM, aiming to lead innovation in mobility, will integrate Amazon Music and Audible into its cars. Amazon Music offers over 100 million songs and personalized playlists, while Audible boasts a catalog of over 1 million audio titles, including audiobooks, podcasts, and Audible Originals. This collaboration will provide drivers with a wide range of immersive audio entertainment.
The first SHM model, 'our website 1', is scheduled to hit the roads in California in 2025. Reservations are currently open for this model in the region. The release date for other areas is yet to be announced.
