Samsung Integrates Coinbase Services into Wallet for Seamless Crypto Experience
Samsung has made its most significant push into digital assets yet, integrating Coinbase services directly into Samsung Wallet. The collaboration, announced in late July 2025, brings a wide range of crypto services to Galaxy device owners in the U.S.
Starting this October, Samsung Wallet users can buy, trade, and manage cryptocurrency seamlessly without needing separate apps or new accounts. The integration embeds Coinbase's services, offering a convenient, secure platform for crypto enthusiasts.
To celebrate the launch, Samsung is providing a free three-month Coinbase One membership and a $25 credit for the first trade to Galaxy device owners. This is a significant move for Coinbase, marking its largest consumer crypto distribution deal to date.
Samsung Wallet's robust security features, including biometric authentication and Samsung Knox, ensure the protection of user information and assets. Users can now view their crypto holdings alongside other digital assets in the Samsung Wallet app.
The integration of Coinbase services into Samsung Wallet is a game-changer for both companies. It provides Galaxy users with a seamless crypto experience, while Coinbase gains wider consumer access. With this deal, Samsung solidifies its position as a leader in digital asset management.
