Review of AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT Graphics Cards: An Overview of All Announced Models from Each AIB Vendor

Readyto dive into the realm of modern graphics cards? Buckle up, folks, as we unveil the latest offerings from AMD's partners for the highly anticipated RX 9060 XT!

Launching on June 5th, AMD's partners have been showcasing their versions early. Asus, Sapphire, XFX, ASRock, and Gigabyte have all revealed their 8GB and 16GB versions, boasting everything from triple-fan coolers to ultra-compact dual-fan designs. Here's what you need to know about each brand's offerings:

Sapphire:

With four models under its belt, expect to see a Nitro+ flagship version, a Pure mid-range option, and two Pulse entry-level models.

The Nitro+ model stands out with its sleek, aggressive design featuring a massive grille, RGB lighting, and a Honeywell PTM7950 thermal pad. This high-end model also boasts fuse protection, fan quick disconnects, an internal ARGB header, and FrameDefense, making it a durable choice for gaming rigs.

Sapphire has forfeited a hidden 12V-2x6 power connector found in their RX 9070 series counterparts in favor of putting the RX 9060 XT's 8-pin power connector on the side. The Pure model is essentially a white version of the Pulse model, while the Pulse models share many features with the Nitro+, including the thermal pad and FrameDefense.

XFX:

In stark contrast to Gigabyte, XFX doesn't show many features of their GPUs beyond the core specifications. But don't let that fool you — they've got no fewer than 12 models in the pipe! Expect triple-fan and dual-fan cooler options in both 8GB and 16GB trimmings.

Asus:

Fans of Asus can look forward to four versions of the RX 9060 XT — a Dual, two Prime variants, and a TUF Gaming model. The Dual model sports an 8GB RX 9060 XT trim, while the Prime and TUF Gaming models come in both 8GB and 16GB options.

The TUF Gaming represents Asus' flagship offering with a tough, militaristic design, tri-fan cooling, and Military-Grade Components such as TUF-branded chokes and MOSFETs. The Prime models adopt a more minimalist aesthetic that blends well with both gaming-focused and non-gaming builds. In a twist, the Dual model sacrifices aesthetics for a stealthier build and shorter length, thanks to its dual-fan cooler design.

Gigabyte:

Gigabyte currently has only one RX 9060 XT model on offer — the RX 9060 XT Gaming, featuring a triple-fan cooler, 8GB and 16GB variants, and factory overclocked versions of both. The Gaming series usually represents a mid-range solution, sporting a minimalist, rugged design with RGB lighting. Unfortunately, their server-grade thermal conductive gel has a history of leaking, although the issue has reportedly been fixed.

ASRock:

ASRock offers a pair of RX 9060 XT models: the Steel Legend and the Challenger. The Steel Legend flagship model is available in white triple-fan cooler designs with an overclocked variation available for both the 8GB and 16GB models. RGB illuminated fans and high-density metal welding characterize this sleek, high-performance offering.

The Challenger serves as ASRock's budget-friendly solution, featuring a smaller dual-fan cooler design. Available in a black finish with minimal RGB lighting, it packs a punch with similar high-density metal welding and ultra-fit heatpipes as the Steel Legend.

Technology enthusiasts everywhere are excited about the upcoming release of the RX 9060 XT graphics card. Sapphire, one of AMD's partners, is prepared to launch four models including the Nitro+, Pure, and two Pulse versions, each featuring unique designs and tech features like FrameDefense for durability.

On the other hand, XFX, another partner, is keeping their RX 9060 XT models under wraps, but with 12 models in the works, expectations remain high for various cooling options and memory configurations.
