Why Go with the G2?
The second-generation NF-A12x25 120mm fans are a smaller, more powerful version of the NF-A14x25 G2 140mm fans, which debuted last year. Noctua utilizes its patented Sterrox liquid-crystal polymer (LCP) for fan construction, offering superior strength and low thermal expansion characteristics compared to traditional thermoplastics.

In airflow scenarios, the G2 fan delivers about 9% more airflow than its predecessor while maintaining comparable thermal performance, particularly when used on radiators. The updated model can also operate approximately 1.5 to 3.5 dB(A) quieter in certain conditions, depending on the speed range.
