Rachna Kumar Takes Up Position as Senior Channel Sales Manager for ExtraHop in ANZ Region

Rachna Kumar, a seasoned cybersecurity professional, has joined Cloud-native network detection and response company ExtraHop as the Senior Channel Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand.

Based in Melbourne, Kumar will be responsible for managing ExtraHop's channel and managed security service provider business. In this role, she will develop sales and solutions strategies, market development, and further alliance, reseller, technology, and partnership initiatives.

Kumar brings a wealth of experience to ExtraHop, having previously worked as a Channel Account Manager with Fortinet. During her tenure at Fortinet, she held frontline channel sales and partner development responsibilities across both public and commercial enterprises.

Before her time at Fortinet, Kumar worked at Trend Micro as the Commercial Distribution Manager for Australia and New Zealand. During her four years with Trend Micro, Kumar developed the company's service offerings, managed sales pipelines, and provided partner training support.

Simon Howe, the Managing Director of ExtraHop APAC, stated that Kumar's appointment will enhance ExtraHop's deep commitment to guiding companies through strategic cybersecurity transformation. Howe believes that Kumar's extensive experience and expertise will be instrumental in driving growth and success in the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Prior to her most recent position in Australia, Kumar held the position of Regional Director at Cisco. Her appointment at ExtraHop marks a return to the cybersecurity industry, where she hopes to continue making a significant impact.

Kumar's appointment is a strategic move for ExtraHop, as the company continues to expand its presence in the Australian and New Zealand markets. With Kumar's leadership, ExtraHop is poised to deliver innovative network detection and response solutions to businesses in the region, helping them navigate the complex landscape of cybersecurity threats.
