Indianapolis is all set to host the WNBA All-Star Weekend 2025, with the festivities extending far beyond basketball. The city is set to become a vibrant hub of art, music, community empowerment, and cultural celebration.

Google's activation, a significant part of the weekend, will feature appearances by WNBA stars like Wilson and Plum, digital creator Katie Feeney, and former Harlem Globetrotter Crissa Jackson. Google is bringing its largest All-Star activation to date, located at the Indiana Convention Center, and will be free and open to fans on Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET. The activation will include a multi-zone experience at WNBA Live during the All-Star Weekend, with clips from the event appearing on the Jumbotron and being downloadable via the All-Access Pass.

In addition to basketball, the citywide activation includes public art installations. Eight female muralists have been commissioned to create vibrant new murals downtown, serving as a lasting tribute to women in sports and remaining on display through the end of the year. The city's tallest hotel has also raised a full-building ad of Caitlin Clark.

Fans can immerse themselves in a variety of interactive activities. Visitors can simulate a WNBA media day using camera features, customize their photos with themed backgrounds, and have a chance to film short basketball highlight reels on a live court using more features from the Google Pixel. Fans can also try on outfits virtually, browse a mini fashion museum featuring Kelsey Plum and A'ja Wilson's signature tunnel fits, and explore the items using features from Google Pixel.

Beyond basketball, the weekend includes a host of social impact workshops and activities. The WNBA Changemaker Day, an annual event dedicated to advancing and economically empowering groups through sport, will take place. Major partners like Ally, AT&T, CarMax, Deloitte, Google, and Nike will support this event.

Fever Fest at White River State Park is another major event, featuring performances by comedians Deon Cole and Cedric the Entertainer, musical acts The Kid Laroi and Leslie Jones, and more, creating a festive atmosphere for fans and visitors. The weekend also includes the Black Kurrency’s ’90s-2000s Jersey Jam, tapping into nostalgic vibes and local culture.

The integration with Indiana Black Expo Summer Celebration ensures that many events from this annual celebration are woven into the All-Star weekend, highlighting local culture and community engagement. The Working Families Party is also hosting an event at the intersection of politics, comedy, and sports during the WNBA All-Star Weekend.

Over 30 restaurants and bars across the city are offering WNBA-themed specials, and over 2,500 youth athletes are expected to participate in a Saturday morning dribble parade. The weekend is being treated as more than a single event, and seen as a showcase of the growth, energy, and influence of women's sports.

In 2020, WNBA players played a key role in the defeat of then-Atlanta Dream co-owner Sen. Kelly Loeffler in Georgia. The 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend is poised to further highlight the impact and influence of these athletes.

With a focus on art, music, community empowerment, and cultural celebration, the 2025 WNBA All-Star Weekend is shaping up to be a wide-reaching and inclusive public event that goes beyond the basketball court.
