Philips Brings Roku TV with Ambilight to US
Philips has introduced its first Roku TV with Ambilight technology to the US market. The new range, announced on October 1, 2025, brings a more immersive viewing experience to American audiences, though pricing and availability details are yet to be revealed.
The Philips Roku TV comes in four sizes - 43, 50, 55, and 65 inches - offering a variety of options for different spaces. It provides access to major streaming services through its smart features, ensuring a wide range of entertainment.
Ambilight technology, which has been popular in the UK and Europe for over two decades, is finally making its way to the US. This feature extends colors from the TV to the wall behind it, creating a more engaging viewing experience for movies and programs. The technology can be customized and used even when the TV is not in use, adding to its appeal.
The new Philips Roku TV supports 4K and HDR10, but it does not support Dolby Vision. Pricing will vary depending on the screen size, with the 65-inch model expected to be the most expensive.
The Philips Roku TV with Ambilight technology is now available in the US, offering a more immersive viewing experience. While pricing and exact availability details are still to be announced, the TV is currently purchasable online and at Sam’s Club in sizes ranging from 43 to 65 inches.
