P R Ramesh and Madan Pillutla appointed as members of Cyient's Board of Directors
Cyient, a global Intelligent Engineering solutions company, has made significant additions to its Board with the appointment of Mr. P. R. Ramesh and Dr. Madan Pillutla as Independent Directors, effective August 18, 2025.
Mr. P. R. Ramesh brings over 40 years of experience in the industry to the table. He is a highly accomplished business leader, having served as the former Chairman of Deloitte India and a member of the Deloitte Global Board. Mr. Ramesh is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and has been associated with major regulatory bodies such as SEBI, RBI, IRDA, and government committees on corporate governance and accounting standards. In addition to his role at Cyient, he currently sits on boards of prominent companies such as Air India, Cipla, L&T, Nestlé India, Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals, and ITC Hotels.
Dr. Madan Pillutla, on the other hand, is an academic leader serving as Dean and Professor of Organizational Behaviour at the Indian School of Business (ISB). He has over two decades of global academic and leadership experience, including 22 years at London Business School, where he held leadership roles such as Deputy Dean of Faculty and Member of the Governing Body. Dr. Pillutla’s research has been published in leading academic journals, and he has served on editorial boards of key management journals.
The appointments of Mr. Ramesh and Dr. Pillutla are expected to provide fresh perspectives and invaluable business experience to Cyient. Mr. MM Murugappan, the Non-Executive Chairman of Cyient, expressed his delight at the appointments, stating, "We are thrilled to welcome Mr. P. R. Ramesh and Dr. Madan Pillutla to our Board.
