Opulent Hotel Garments in Saudi Arabia
The luxury Shangri-La Jeddah hotel in Saudi Arabia has raised the bar for audio excellence in the hospitality industry, thanks to a comprehensive property-wide solution designed and installed by Harman Professional Solutions distributor Halwani Audio Visual (HAV).
The project, which includes key areas such as restaurants, ballroom, hotel suites, VIP rooms, and the lobby, focuses on delivering pristine sound quality that complements the hotel’s luxury atmosphere.
In the Shangri-La Main Ballroom, a popular venue for weddings and social events, JBL Point Source AE Expansion series were used as left and right speakers. To ensure high-quality sound throughout the property, 96 JBL Control 300 series ceiling speakers were installed, including Control 322C main and Control 312CS subs.
The Kaia Club, an all-weather DJ-ready solution, boasts an immersive audio system featuring JBL Control 31WH with marine grills as main speakers, AWC 15LF for sub-bass, JBL Control 28-1L with SS grills for surrounding delays, dbx ZonePro digital signal processors, Crown DriveCore high-performance amplifiers, and a Pioneer DJ solution.
Niyyali Restaurant, overlooking the Red Sea and the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, uses JBL Control 28-1L, Control C26T, Control 19CS, DriveCore Crown amplifiers, and BSS DSP for control and zone management. The Capo front lobby, a boutique patisserie within Shangri-La Jeddah, features Line Array CBT 70J-1, Control C26T ceiling speakers, and AWC 62 for the outdoor terrace.
The Waterfront Kitchen's audio system includes JBL CRV speakers and JBL Control 19CS. The system is designed for seamless integration with the kitchen's world-class design, providing a signature audio experience with JBL CRV speakers forming a lifebuoy-like circle under the fishnet ceiling, JBL Control 19CS for sub-bass, BSS Digital Signal Processing for control and zone management, and Crown XLS DriveCore amplifiers.
Crown DriveCore high-performance amplifiers and BSS digital signal processors are used for control and zone management in the Capo front lobby and both the Waterfront Kitchen and Kaia Club.
HAV's expertise and Harman’s support were crucial in overcoming initial challenges with a previous integrator, ensuring the final installation met Shangri-La Jeddah’s high standards. This comprehensive integration uses Harman’s professional audio technologies to provide immersive, consistent sound across both social and private spaces within the hotel.
In addition to its audio systems, the Shangri-La Jeddah also hosted the 2025 Bitcoin Conference, further cementing its position as a premier destination in Saudi Arabia.
