NIST Unveils CSF 2.0 Journey: Virtual & In-Person Workshops This Month
NIST is updating its Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) to adapt to the evolving cybersecurity landscape. The 'Journey to CSF 2.0' workshops are set to discuss the Concept Paper, with a virtual event on February 15, 2023, and in-person sessions on February 22 and 23, 2023.
The CSF 2.0 Concept Paper, released recently, outlines significant potential changes to the CSF. NIST is seeking additional input before issuing a draft CSF 2.0 this Summer. Feedback can be shared via [email protected] by March 3, 2023.
The upcoming workshops will provide opportunities for NIST staff and experts to discuss the Concept Paper and gather further insights. The virtual workshop on February 15 will be followed by two days of in-person working sessions on February 22 and 23.
NIST's CSF update aims to keep pace with the changing cybersecurity landscape. The upcoming workshops and feedback period offer stakeholders a chance to engage with the process and help shape the future of the CSF.
