New Release of FL Studio 2025 Incorporates AI Advisor for Music Production Guidance and DAW Utilization Assistance
In a groundbreaking move, Image-Line has unveiled FL Studio 2025, a new version of its popular digital audio workstation (DAW) that introduces two AI-driven features to enhance creativity and streamline music production.
Gopher AI Assistant
Gopher, the new AI assistant within FL Studio 2025, is a multi-lingual, ChatGPT-style assistant trained specifically on FL Studio's manual and knowledge base. Gopher provides instant, in-DAW answers on how to use the software, as well as guidance on music production topics including mixing, songwriting, and music theory. It allows users to quickly access expert advice without leaving the DAW, aimed at all skill levels.
Loop Starter
Loop Starter, another notable addition, helps users jumpstart their creative process by automatically generating tempo-synced loops and one-shots based on a selected genre. Available genres include amapiano, drill, trap, EDM, and more. Loop Starter loads a stack of samples from FL Cloud’s free sample library directly into the Channel Rack, creating editable step sequencer tracks for quick idea generation. Users can regenerate ideas per track for rapid auditioning and export chosen loops to the Playlist.
Additional Features
The update also includes expanded mixer track flexibility (supporting up to 500 tracks), improvements to workflow, and enhanced audio clip editing. Notably, Audio Clips in FL Studio 2025 now have the ability to stretch, pitch, and reverse audio directly from the Clip Properties window.
Moreover, FL Studio 2025 introduces Emphasis, a multi-stage mastering limiter plugin exclusive to the All Plugins Edition. The update also replaces Image-Line Remote with FL Studio Remote, a new application for iOS and Android that enables mobile device control of the DAW.
