New offerings from Legrand's radiant Collection introduce matter-powered intelligent lighting systems.
New Matter-Enabled 2nd Generation Radiant Smart Lighting System Available
Legrand has announced the release of the 2nd generation of their radiant Smart Lighting system, now featuring Matter compatibility. This new generation of smart lighting offers a great design that seamlessly matches with the existing radiant collection.
The new line includes several new products such as the WWMP10, a Smart 15A Plug-In with Wi-Fi, Matter-Enabled, the WWMRL10WH, a radiant Smart Switch with Wi-Fi, Matter-Enabled, and the WWMRR15WH, a radiant Smart 15A Receptacle with Wi-Fi, Matter-Enabled. The WWMRL51WH is a radiant Smart LED Dimmer with Wi-Fi, Matter-Enabled, and the WWMP31 is a Smart Outdoor Dual Output Plug with Wi-Fi, Matter-Enabled.
One of the key features of the 2nd generation radiant Smart Lighting system is its ability to be set to turn on automatically when it's dark. Whether you're arriving home late, walking through hallways, or creating the appearance that someone's home, the system can provide safety and energy savings through automations and scheduled lighting.
Each device in the new line comes with a unique Matter QR code for simplified onboarding. The system requires a Matter-compatible hub for onboarding and can be controlled remotely from a smartphone or voice assistant. It's also compatible with various smart home platforms, including Amazon Alexa, Google Home, Apple Home, and Samsung SmartThings.
The new Matter-enabled smart devices from Legrand also support Amazon's Frustration-Free Setup with Alexa. This means that setting up your new smart lighting system with Alexa will be even easier.

The manufacturer of the 2nd generation smart lighting system is Signify, the company behind Philips Hue, who introduced the latest generation of Philips Hue lamps supporting Matter over Thread at the IFA in Berlin.
It's worth noting that the 2nd generation radiant Smart Lighting system can still be controlled without an internet connection if the home's Wi-Fi network is still accessible. This ensures that even in the event of an internet outage, users can still control their smart lighting system.
In summary, the new 2nd generation radiant Smart Lighting system with Wi-Fi offers a great design, automation features, and Matter compatibility. It's easy to set up, can be controlled remotely, and is compatible with various smart home platforms. For more information and to purchase the new products, visit legrand.us/matter.
