New 45MW Solar Plant in Turkey Begins Operation
A new solar power plant in Isparta, Turkey, has begun operation. ABB supplied key components, while Ekliner Eurosol handled installation. The plant generates over 7.5 million kilowatt-hours of solar power annually, using around 306 tons of steel and covering eight hectares.
The plant's specific yield is approximately 1,590 kWh per installed kWp. Sybac Solar International GmbH, which led the project, has enhanced its decision-making and risk minimization strategies for future projects based on its experience in Isparta.
Schletter provided the mounting system for the solar modules, with Phono Solar contributing around 18,500 photovoltaic modules. Stephan Tarlach, associated with the solar energy sector, was involved, along with local Turkish firms and international partners.
The Isparta solar power plant, with a capacity of over 45 megawatts, is part of Sybac Solar's project pipeline in Turkey. ABB and Schletter's involvement highlights the international collaboration in the renewable energy sector.
