For Android devices:

  1. Open the Settings app.

  3. Tap on Access Point Names (APN).
  4. Create a new APN by tapping the symbol or reset existing APN settings if needed.
  5. Enter the following Boost Mobile APN details:
  6. Name: Boost Mobile (or any preferred name)
  7. APN: Telstra.mms
  8. Proxy: (leave blank)
  9. Port: (leave blank)
  10. Username: (leave blank)
  11. Password: (leave blank)
  12. MMSC: http://mmsc.telstra.com:8002
  13. MMS Proxy: 10.1.1.180
  14. MMS Port: 80
  15. MCC: 505
  16. MNC: 01
  17. Authentication Type: PAP
  18. APN Type: default, supl
  19. Save the APN and select it as active.
  20. Restart your phone for changes to take effect.

For iPhone and iPad:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Tap Cellular > Cellular Data Options > Cellular Network.
  3. Under Cellular Data, enter or edit the APN as follows:
  4. APN: Telstra.mms
  5. The other fields like Username, Password, MMSC, MMS Proxy, etc., should match the Android settings where applicable.
  6. Save the settings and restart the iPhone or iPad.

If the APN fields are greyed out or you cannot edit them, you may try to reset network settings or reinstall your SIM card. Resetting network settings on iOS can be done via Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings, which will erase all saved Wi-Fi and network configurations, so use this as a last resort.
