Matt Holt Appointed as CEO of Global Gaming Regulation Firm, Gaming Compliance International
Gaming Compliance International (GCI) Expands with Holt's Expertise
Gaming Compliance International (GCI) has announced a significant expansion in its mission to improve tax accuracy and transparency in online gaming markets. This expansion is driven by a tech-forward approach and the addition of Holt, a seasoned professional with a proven track record in sports betting integrity and regulated gaming.
Holt, who built US Integrity, a firm renowned for flagging unusual betting activity to leagues, regulators, and sportsbooks, brings a wealth of expertise to GCI. His experience extends to leadership roles at Cantor Gaming and serving on the board of the Fantasy Sports & Gaming Association.
Ross Anderson, GCI's COO, stated that Holt's arrival positions the company for global growth. "Holt's extensive knowledge and experience in the field will be invaluable as we continue to disrupt illegal gambling and promote transparency in the online gaming industry," Anderson said.
GCI's platform provides automated auditing tools that enable regulators to block player acquisition of offshore sites. By identifying payment processors, media channels, and data providers tied to these sites, regulators can effectively prevent illegal gambling activities.
The government in the Philippines, where GCI works with the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) to fight illegal gambling, stands to benefit significantly from these advancements.
With Holt on board, GCI is well-positioned to lead the charge in ensuring a fair and transparent online gaming market. As the company continues to grow and expand, it is poised to make a substantial impact in the industry, promoting a safer and more secure environment for players and operators alike.
