Markel Insurance Launches Canada 360: Tailored Insurance for Cyber, Tech & Fintech Sectors
Markel Insurance has rolled out Canada 360, a comprehensive suite of insurance policies tailored to the unique needs of cyber, tech, and fintech sectors in Canada. The suite includes Cyber 360 Canada, Tech 360 Canada, and Fintech 360 Canada, each offering customisable coverage for the digital age.
The launch of Canada 360 follows Markel Insurance's introduction of InsurtechRisk in June. This global product targets insurtech businesses with limits up to £10m ($13.49m).
Ed Rawe, appointed Assistant Vice President for Cyber in September 2025, leads the cyber insurance efforts. Markel Canada is also collaborating with expert service providers to offer round-the-clock support for clients facing cyber breaches.
Fintech 360 Canada, designed for fintech organizations, provides customisable coverage including cyber liability, management liability, theft and crime, and fintech errors and omissions protection. Tech 360 Canada offers a modular primary insurance solution combining technology errors and omissions with cyber and management liability coverage. Cyber 360 Canada, meanwhile, offers pre-breach services to mitigate threats and protect clients.
Markel Insurance's Canada 360 suite caters to the evolving risks faced by cyber, tech, and fintech sectors in Canada. With customisable coverage, 24/7 support, and global expertise, the policies aim to provide robust protection for businesses in the digital age.
