Markel Canada Launches Tailored Insurance Suite for Cyber, Tech, and Fintech Sectors
Markel Insurance has expanded its offerings in Canada with the launch of Canada 360, a suite of tailored insurance policies for the cyber, tech, and fintech sectors. The company, known for its innovative approach to insurance, has introduced three new products to address the evolving risks faced by businesses in these dynamic industries.
Leading the cyber division in Markel Canada, Ivan Kecojevic, has played a pivotal role in developing these new products. The suite includes Cyber 360 Canada, Tech 360 Canada, and Fintech 360 Canada, each designed to meet the unique needs of clients in their respective sectors.
Cyber 360 Canada offers pre-breach services, developed in collaboration with industry experts, to help clients address threats and protect their businesses. It provides coverage limits up to £10m ($13.49m) for insurtech businesses globally, as launched in June under the InsurtechRisk product.
Tech 360 Canada offers a modular primary insurance solution, combining technology errors and omissions coverage with cyber coverage and management liability. Meanwhile, Fintech 360 Canada is designed for fintech organizations, offering customizable coverage including cyber liability, management liability, theft and crime coverage, and fintech errors and omissions protection.
Markel Canada's commitment to understanding and meeting the dynamic needs of its clients is evident in the launch of these new products. With coverage limits up to £10m and around-the-clock support for clients navigating cyber breaches, Markel Canada continues to demonstrate its leadership in the insurance industry.
