Our gang of devs has been a cracking on our blood-curdling rogue-lite, The Unliving, and they've rolled out a major update for the demo, specifically tailored for Steam Next Fest. The Necromancer's Citadel: Expansion Pack
The Citadel may represent the start of the Ritual, but it's gonna get a whole lot bigger before Early Access. Our boney builders are toiling away to make it happen.
The Wicked Ritual
All of the Necromancer's spells and sacrificial runes are bound to the Ritual and can be expanded inside the Citadel by collecting Arche, a necromantic matter found within the game.
Darker Sorcery Unleashed
This demo will unleash several fresh spells upon you, but we ain't about to spoil 'em. Let's just say that by the end of the ritual in this demo, you'll be squaring off against some serious infernal firepower.
The Necromancer: A Deadlier Foe
The Lord of Life and Death has upped his game with a fancy new phylactery system. Shoved inside one of these bad boys, a werewolf's life energy will send nearby enemies into a frenzy of fratricidal rage.
Cursed Weapons: More Corruption, More Power
As you upgrade a cursed weapon, the Necromancer can affix a new curse, generating a random combo of effects and activation conditions. This is one sweet form of twisted armament!
