Learn to Build Balcony Solar Power Systems in Rüsselheim Workshop
On October 26, a unique workshop in Rüsselheim will teach participants how to convert used solar modules into balcony solar power systems. The 'Meine Stromquelle vom Balkon' event is organised by the local environmental initiative and funded by the German Postcode Lottery. Spaces are limited and registration is required, with a fee of 60 euros covering necessary materials.
The workshop will cover both theoretical and practical aspects. Participants will learn about technical and legal backgrounds, as well as safe mounting options. Notably, only a mounting system needs to be purchased separately. The fee includes a material package containing a solar module, inverter, and necessary cables and connectors.
Even those who don't wish to build their own system can attend for free, providing an opportunity to learn more about solar power and its potential for urban spaces.
The 'Meine Stromquelle vom Balkon' workshop in Rüsselheim offers a hands-on learning experience, empowering participants to harness solar energy in small spaces. With the German Postcode Lottery's funding, this initiative aims to promote sustainable living and renewable energy use in Germany.
