Leaked images of Google's upcoming Pixel 10 reveal bolder and more vibrant color options compared to previous models.
The much-anticipated Google Pixel 10 is gearing up for its official debut on August 20, and new leaks suggest some exciting changes in store. One of the most notable updates is the inclusion of a telephoto lens in the base model, marking the first time this feature has been available in a non-Pro Pixel series.
The Pixel 10's base model will feature a 48MP telephoto lens, offering up to 5x zoom. However, this addition comes with trade-offs. The primary sensor has been downgraded from 50MP to 48MP, and the ultrawide sensor has been significantly reduced from 48MP to around 12–13MP. Both main and ultrawide sensors are smaller and lower in resolution, a necessary compromise to accommodate the new telephoto camera.
The Pixel 10's colour options are set to be more vibrant, with four new hues: Obsidian (the usual black colour option), Frost (a colour that falls between light blue and a soft purple tint), Indigo (which takes after the Bay blue and darkens it up), and Limoncello, a yellow-green colour. Interestingly, the Limoncello colour option might be limited to specific storage configurations.
The wider glass section on the Pixel 10's camera bar suggests a third lens, hinting at the presence of the telephoto lens. The Pixel 10 Pro might start at 256GB or higher storage, and Android Headlines has obtained official renders of the Pixel 10, revealing the shift towards a more vibrant colour palette.
As launch day approaches, more leaks are expected to surface, shedding more light on the Pixel 10's features and capabilities. The Pixel 10 series has already been teased on Google's official store, indicating the device's imminent release.
