Colonel Gerd Schnell, the commander of the Tactical Air Wing 73 "Steinhoff," announced these plans, emphasizing that the modern military home for the soldiers of the unit at the Laage airbase will be ensured by these extensive investments. Over 50 construction measures are planned for the next 15 years, with the aim of protecting soldiers and ensuring the fulfillment of the mission even under threat in crisis and war.
