Land Rover Unveils 2017 Discovery Ahead of Paris Motor Show
Land Rover has unveiled the official photos of the new Discovery 2017, ahead of its Paris Motor Show debut. The reveal comes after the car's official photos were published in September 2016, with no specific information about any exclusive release to a particular person or agency.
The 2017 Land Rover Discovery, also known as the Discovery 5, will feature a 2.0-litre Ingenium engine in entry-level models, with a 3.0-litre diesel and a plug-in hybrid option to follow. It boasts seven proper seats and aims to rival the new Volvo XC90 in terms of appeal.
Design-wise, the new Discovery is a grown-up version of the Discovery Sport, taking cues from the Discovery Vision Concept. It retains hints of its lineage, such as an off-set number plate and stepped tailgate. The interior promises higher quality than its predecessor, packed with technology and off-road capability.
The 2017 Land Rover Discovery has been officially revealed, set to make its formal debut at the Paris Motor Show. With its advanced engine options, spacious seating, and refined design, it looks to strengthen Land Rover's position in the luxury SUV market.
