Krasnodar Brings Back Paper Transport Tickets Amid Resident Demand
In response to residents' requests, particularly from those struggling with digital services, the Krasnodar Territory Legislative Assembly has voted to reinstate paper transport tickets. The decision, made on October 1, aims to ensure uninterrupted access to transport for all residents.
Initially, the regional strategy planned a full transition to electronic tickets by 2026. However, the plan has been adjusted, and paper tickets will remain in circulation until the authorities analyze the new scheme's results and convenience. This decision allows for the parallel existence of paper and electronic tickets, catering to the needs of both tech-savvy residents and those who prefer traditional methods.
Governor Alexander Vlasov, responsible for paper transport tickets, will make the final decision in December about their continuation. The final call will be made after summarizing the results of the parallel system and considering the feedback from residents.
Paper transport tickets are once again available in Krasnodar, providing a familiar option for those who have not mastered new technologies. The future of paper tickets will be decided in December, ensuring that transport remains accessible to all residents.
