Kazakhstan President Unveils Digital Governance Philosophy

Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the United States, has presented a new philosophy for state governance at the International Digital Bridge 2025 forum. The approach, focused on digitalization, aims to reduce bureaucracy and strengthen citizens' trust in state institutions.

Tokayev stressed the importance of understanding algorithmic systems in state services and credit issuance. He proposed that all regulatory acts related to state-citizen interaction should undergo digital expertise before approval. The President also suggested that data provided once should not be requested again, streamlining processes for citizens.

He noted that these digital transformation measures are innovative for the region and long-term in approach. Tokayev highlighted that smart technologies can analyze vast data, improving strategic planning and promoting economic growth. Furthermore, he emphasized the need to adapt legislation for widespread AI implementation and digital property protection.
