Kaco's Blueplanet Gridsave 1000 TL3 Inverter Launches in USA, Europe Soon
Kaco, a leading manufacturer, is set to launch the blueplanet gridsave 1000 TL3 inverter in the USA later this year, with Europe following soon. This device is a bidirectional battery inverter, offering 1,000 kVA of output power.
The inverter aids in static grid support and provides fault ride-through functionality, ensuring grid stability every second. It is suitable for large-scale peak shaving and can be adapted to specific storage system requirements.
The design incorporates experiences from a large-scale project with Korea Electric Power Corp. (KEPCO). The inverter communicates via Modbus and Sunspec, enabling a wide range of control systems to regulate the battery inverter. It is compatible with all common battery technologies and works well with conventional energy sources, as well as wind and photovoltaics.
The blueplanet gridsave 1000 TL3 is designed to enhance grid stability and facilitate peak shaving. Its compatibility with various battery technologies and energy sources makes it a versatile choice for different applications. The launch in the USA, with Europe to follow, signals Kaco's commitment to expanding its global reach.
