The day opened with a massive keynote address by Anil Tandon, Senior EVP of Retail Portfolio Management at HDFC Bank. Anil dropped some major knowledge on how collections is morphing from a backend function to a strategic business partner through AI, predictive analytics, and a killer combination of automation and human judgment. "AI will call the shots, but humans will always own the feels. This symbiotic relationship will transform collections from mere debt recovery to proactively preventing losses."

Throughout the day, we heard from some industry heavyweights, each bringing their unique insights to the table. Krishnendu Majumdar, CPTO at Yubi Group, shared his thoughts on "The New Frontier: Empowering Bharat's Credit Revolution with AI and Human Ingenuity." Meanwhile, Bhavin Parekh, Co-founder of YuCollect, moderated a session titled "Collections 2.0: What a Modern Infrastructure Should Look Like." Can you guess who joined the discussion? You'll have to believe us when we say it was a star-studded panel featuring senior execs from HDFC Bank, State Bank of India, Aadhar Housing Finance, IDBI Bank, DBS Bank, NPCI, Bank of Baroda, Poonawalla Fincorp, John Deere Financial, ICICI Home Finance, Bajaj Capital, DCB Bank, Karnataka Bank, Fibe, and Bajaj Housing Finance.
