Hyundai i10 Blue: Eco-Friendly City Car Starts at £8,195
Hyundai is set to introduce 'Blue' models across its range, aiming to reduce CO2 emissions and improve fuel economy. The first model to receive this treatment is the facelifted Hyundai i10, which goes on sale in March 2011 with a starting price of £8,195 and a generous five-year, unlimited mileage warranty.
The 2011 Hyundai i10 comes with a revised 1.25-litre engine, offering 85bhp, an impressive 61.4mpg, and low emissions of 108g/km. The i10 Blue, an Eco-i10 model with a 1.0-litre engine, emits just 99g/km and achieves 67.3mpg, making it London Congestion Charge exempt and the cheapest five-seater on the market with sub-100g/km emissions.
The facelifted i10 features new bumpers and lights, giving it a more European mainstream design. It is available in four trim levels - Blue, Classic, Active, and Style - all equipped with air conditioning and electric windows.
The 2011 Hyundai i10, with its improved engine and eco-friendly 'Blue' variant, is set to make a significant impact in the small car market. With its competitive pricing, generous warranty, and low running costs, it is poised to attract environmentally conscious buyers seeking an affordable, reliable, and stylish city car.
