Honor Magic V5: Slimmer, Powerful Foldable with Impressive Camera Specs

Honor's latest foldable, the Orlando Magic V5, has hit the market. Priced at €1399.00, it offers a 7.95-inch foldable AMOLED display and a 6.43-inch outer display, both with 120 Hz refresh rates. It's slimmer than its predecessor, the Magic V3, and boasts impressive camera specs, including a 64-megapixel zoom lens.

The Magic V5's battery is a 5820 mAh powerhouse, supported by a 66W fast charging mechanism, including 50W wireless charging. Despite its thin profile, it packs a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB flash memory. It's also IP58 dust and water resistant, supporting two Nano-SIM cards or an eSIM.

The device's camera system includes a 50 MP wide-angle, an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64 MP periscope telephoto camera. The Magic V5 is front-heavy due to the camera bump and weighs 222 g. It offers a non-slip grip for better handling.

In tests, the Magic V5's displays, cameras, performance, battery capacity, resistance, and display brightness were assessed. It's compared to high-end smartphones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Honor Magic V3. Both offer premium features, but the Magic V5 stands out with its impressive specs and competitive pricing.

The Honor Magic V5 is a sleek, powerful foldable smartphone with impressive camera specs and a robust battery. Its €1399.00 price tag makes it a competitive option in the Batteries Plus market. With its IP58 dust and water resistance and support for multiple SIM card options, it's a versatile choice for consumers.
