Honda introduces the Honda X-ADV in worldwide markets: Discover the updates
New and Improved Honda X-ADV: A Versatile Ride for All Terrains
The Honda X-ADV, a crossover between an adventure motorcycle and a scooter, has received an upgrade for 2026. The latest model boasts significant improvements in its 6-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT), aiming to deliver a smoother and more responsive ride.
The key focus of these updates is to enhance the X-ADV's performance at standstill and low speeds, reducing jerkiness. Honda has fine-tuned the DCT for smoother starts and improved control in slow-moving traffic. The clutch system has also been revised to provide a nicer feel and quicker shifts, contributing to an overall improved riding experience.
In addition to these refinements, the X-ADV's transmission now offers quicker and smoother gear shifts, benefiting both automatic and manual modes. These updates maintain the same mechanical setup, including the 745cc parallel-twin engine and six-speed DCT, but refine the transmission's engagement and shift quality to improve ride smoothness and control.
The rugged, purpose-built aesthetic of the Honda X-ADV remains unchanged, along with its key features such as the smart key and Honda Smartphone Voice Control system. The bike is equipped with 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wire-spoke wheels wrapped in tubeless tyres, and suspension components like 41mm upside-down (USD) front forks and a monoshock unit at the rear with adjustable spring preload.
The Honda X-ADV's braking duties are handled by twin 296mm discs at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS. The bike's engine is liquid-cooled and paired with a 6-speed DCT.
The X-ADV offers four riding modes (Standard, Sport, Rain, and Gravel) and a User mode for customization, catering to a variety of riding conditions. The bike's engine makes a peak power output of 54 bhp at 6,250 rpm, and it comes with a five-inch TFT display for Bluetooth connectivity.
In India, the Honda X-ADV is priced at ₹11.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The bike is designed to tackle a variety of terrain conditions, making it a versatile choice for riders seeking an adventure-ready ride. With its improved transmission and rugged design, the 2026 Honda X-ADV is set to offer a smoother, more responsive ride for all.
