German SMEs Prioritize Resilience and Innovation in Crisis Management
A recent study by the myneva Group, conducted by polling institute Civey, reveals the priorities and strategies of German medium-sized entrepreneurs in crisis management and success. The survey highlights the importance of financial resilience, network maintenance, and mental health, with 75% of entrepreneurs actively engaged in the social sector beyond their economic activities.
Entrepreneurs value innovation, with 92% considering it crucial for their companies' future. However, only 33% emphasize continuous innovation as a key to success. Instead, 61% prioritize specialization. Creative thinking is also highly regarded, with 93% of entrepreneurs considering it central to problem-solving.
New technologies are integrated based on their promise of efficiency gains. While 48% integrate them continuously, 33% do so only when there is a concrete benefit. Many companies also react flexibly to changes and maintain transparent communication during crises.
Entrepreneurs' priorities include long-term customer loyalty, with 66% considering it a main pillar of success. Despite this, only 25% actively position themselves as trendsetters. The study underscores the importance of adaptability, innovation, and customer focus in navigating crises and driving success in Germany's medium-sized businesses.
