Gap has joined forces with New York-based designer Sandy Liang to unveil a new, nostalgia-inspired collection that celebrates modern girlhood and self-expression. The limited-edition range for women and kids will launch on October 10, merging Gap's timeless aesthetic with Liang's signature feminine edge.
The Gap x Sandy Liang collection offers a mix of denim, fleece, and outerwear pieces that cater to a cross-generational audience. It includes playful and wearable items such as a logo oversize hoodie ($118) and a bow oversize hoodie ($108) for a touch of nostalgia. Outerwear options feature a vegan leather sherpa jacket ($268) for a stylish and cruelty-free choice.
Denim lovers can enjoy a pleated denim miniskirt ($88), a vegan fur crop denim tears jacket ($128), and loose carpenter jeans ($108). The collaboration also extends to baby and toddler exclusives online, with mini matchbacks inspired by women's styles, allowing families to coordinate their outfits.
Mark Breitbard, president and CEO of Gap, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, stating that it keeps Gap at the forefront of culture. Liang, a fashion designer of Chinese-American heritage, brings her unique perspective to the collection, adding a feminine edge to Gap's classic aesthetic.
