Funds Acquired: $7.3 Million for an AI-driven Auditing System
Vaudit, a leading real-time AI audit engine, is revolutionising the advertising industry by providing businesses with the tools to recover wasted ad spend and ensure financial accountability in an often opaque digital ecosystem.
Previously known as BlokID, Vaudit has recently closed a $7.3 million seed financing round, bringing its total funding to $8.5 million. Notable investors include Omar Hamoui, founder of AdMob, and Binh Tran, co-founder of Klout.
As a continuous monitor of digital ad campaigns, Vaudit helps businesses identify billing anomalies and fraudulent traffic, such as inflated CPMs/CPCs, unserved ads, bots, click farms, and misaligned impressions outside targeted regions. This precise detection enables businesses to flag low-quality traffic, refine targeting, and generate legally defensible audit evidence to dispute inaccurate charges and reclaim lost spend.
The company's new Chief Operating Officer, Piotr Korzeniowski, believes that Vaudit is defining a new category: audit intelligence. He emphasises that the platform provides full visibility into ad spending and the power to hold platforms accountable for AI traffic.
Vaudit's automated workflows optimise ad spend by minimising waste and blocking fraudulent traffic, potentially saving advertisers up to 10% or more of their total ad budgets. The platform also supplies dispute-ready documentation to support refund claims with major digital ad platforms.
Binh Tran, General Partner at AVV, highlights that Vaudit is not just innovating in adtech, but is defining a new category of financial accountability in media buying, delivering the missing trust layer for the opaque digital ad ecosystem.
With the funding, Vaudit will enhance its AI models for better anomaly detection and expand its coverage to include more digital advertising channels, such as TikTok and Amazon. The company currently has over 1,000 customers globally and has audited more than 558 million ad events.
In summary, Vaudit helps businesses by providing real-time auditing of digital ad campaigns to detect and document waste and billing errors, detecting fraudulent traffic and suspicious activities, comparing ad invoices to actual ad delivery and traffic quality to find billing discrepancies, offering automated workflows that optimise spend by minimising waste and blocking fraud, and supplying legally defensible, dispute-ready reports to recover overbilled amounts.
