Freyr Singapore secures agreement worth $1.4 billion with Gorilla to construct AI data center foundation across Southeast Asia.
Gorilla Technology Group Inc. (NASDAQ: GRRR) and Freyr Technology AI, based in Singapore, have announced a significant partnership to develop a network of AI-powered data centres across Southeast Asia. The three-year project, worth $1.4 billion, is set to begin in Q4 2025 with an initial phase of deployment worth $300 million.
The partnership will see Gorilla Technology serve as the lead provider of AI infrastructure, service-level operations, and end-to-end data centre intelligence across Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand. Freyr Technology AI, a NVIDIA Preferred Partner, will provide its full-stack infrastructure solutions for AI and HPC across the Asia-Pacific region.
Under the agreement, Gorilla will utilize local co-location facilities and deploy its proprietary AI stack, including GPU-as-a-Service infrastructure, orchestration software, and real-time monitoring systems. Detailed Statements of Work (SOWs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and GPU infrastructure deployment schedules are being finalized by the two companies.
