Uber Eats Encourages Users to Submit Photos for Cash Rewards

Starting from August 2, 2025, Uber Eats is offering an exciting opportunity for its users to earn $3 UberCash by submitting photos of their delivered food. This initiative can be found on the rate order screen through the "Add Photos" button. If Uber Eats selects your photo for use, you will receive the UberCash credit.

To increase your chances of having your photo chosen, follow these guidelines:

  1. Take well-lit photos that are clear and unedited. Natural light is recommended for the best results.
  2. Capture the food before you start eating. This helps to maintain the authenticity of the image.
  3. Consider taking the photo from a top-down or 45-degree angle to showcase the ingredients. If applicable, you can also cut the photo in half to highlight the layers inside.
  4. While no professional food styling is required, a natural presentation helps. To make the image more engaging, you can include a cut-in (a partial view of your hand or utensils interacting with the food).

Remember, Uber Eats is looking for visually appealing and accurate representations of the food ordered. AI-generated or heavily edited images should not be submitted.

This initiative is part of Uber Eats' recent push to use more authentic user-generated images alongside AI-enhanced photos, with the aim of improving menu visuals and customer experience.
