Ferrari has not discussed plans for a second or third electric vehicle, according to statements made by the company.

Ferrari has clarified that there are no delays in the development of its second electric car, contrary to recent rumors suggesting a 2028 release. The Italian luxury car manufacturer, led by CEO Benedetto Vigna, remains committed to its electrification strategy, with the first electric Ferrari set to hit the roads in 2026.

During a Q2 2025 earnings call, Vigna denied the claims of a delayed second electric car, setting the record straight on the project timeline. The company is optimistic about the success of the first electric Ferrari, which will be unveiled in stages starting October 2025, with a full production slated for 2026.

The first electric Ferrari might not be a traditional sports car, but an SUV or a Gran Turismo, as current test vehicles use the body of a Maserati Levante. The starting price of this groundbreaking vehicle is reported to be above 500,000 euros.

By 2030, Ferrari aims to have 40% of its sales come from electric vehicles, with the remaining 20% consisting of conventional internal combustion engine vehicles. Another 40% of the sales are planned to come from hybrid models. The company's long-term goal is to have hybrid models available for about 6 years by 2030.

However, it's important to note that Ferrari has not publicly discussed a third electric car, and no official release date for the second electric Ferrari has been announced. Rumors suggest that the second planned electric car has been delayed and won't be released until 2028, but these claims remain unconfirmed.

In 2027, the full vehicle presentation of the first electric Ferrari is expected, and in 2026, a sneak peek of its interior will be revealed. The alleged second electric vehicle from Ferrari is rumored to be produced in larger quantities, around 5,000 to 6,000 units over five years.

CEO Benedetto Vigna has expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming first electric Ferrari and confidence in its success. Despite the ongoing rumors, Ferrari remains focused on its electrification strategy and is committed to delivering innovative and high-performance electric vehicles to its customers.
