Extron Unveils DTP3 T 212 D: Two-Gang Transmitter for Long-Distance AV Signal Extension
Extron has unveiled a new product, the DTP3 T 212 D, a two-gang decorator-style transmitter. This device sends multiple signals, including USB-C, HDMI, and audible, up to 330 feet over a shielded CAT 6A cable.
The DTP3 T 212 D supports an impressive range of features. It enables audible embedding alongside the video signal and shares remote power with other DTP3-enabled products. This transmitter supports high-quality video, including HDR, Deep Color up to 12-bit, 3D, and embedded HD lossless audio formats. It handles video resolutions up to 4K/60 @ 4:4:4 and is HDCP 2.3 compliant.
For integrators, the DTP3 T 212 D offers several user-friendly features. It includes EDID Minder for continuous DDC communication of EDID and HDCP between source and display. It also offers auto-switching between inputs and bidirectional RS-232 pass-through.
