Eagleview Collaboration for Improved Aerial Surveillance with MIS
Eagleview and McKenzie Intelligence Services (MIS) have announced a groundbreaking collaboration, aiming to deliver enhanced intelligence and aerial imagery to the North American insurance industry for catastrophic events.
David Bairstow, SVP and General Manager of Eagleview, expressed his excitement about the new partnership with MIS. He stated that the collaboration will bring major benefits for their users.
Forbes McKenzie, CEO and Founder of MIS, expressed similar sentiments. He stated that the collaboration further establishes GEO, the disaster response platform for carriers, as the go-to platform for the best intelligence and aerial imagery on the market.
In the last year, MIS has released comprehensive intelligence reports on 25 CAT events in North America and monitored a further 42 more, covering multiple perils such as hurricanes, tornadoes, wildfires, and more. This intelligence will now be combined with Eagleview's high-resolution pre- and post-CAT event aerial imagery, obtained through 60 individual flights, covering 34,000 km2 of North America.
The collaboration represents a significant evolution in serving the insurance marketplace. MIS clients will have access to Eagleview's library of pre- and post-event aerial imagery within the GEO platform, offering wider US event coverage of perils such as hurricanes, tornadoes, flooding, and wildfires.
Similarly, Eagleview clients will gain immediate access to the GEO platform and its historical archive of over 200 global events, where they can securely host their portfolio data and enhance imagery with verified exposure, claims, and building-level analysis from the MIS team.
The shared goal of the collaboration is to continue providing carriers with the information they need, especially during critical times as North American catastrophes worsen year-on-year. The collaboration aims to help clients make decisions on claims in a matter of days following an event.
It is worth noting that the company that partnered with McKenzie Intelligence Services last year to provide better geospatial intelligence and aerial imagery to the North American insurance industry is not mentioned in the provided search results.
The details of the partnership are still unfolding, but one thing is certain: this collaboration will undoubtedly revolutionise the way the insurance industry responds to disasters in North America.
